Getting back to work or study after sustaining spinal cord damage can feel overwhelming - but you don't have to do it alone.
The Spinal Life Australia Back2Work program has been dedicated to early intervention assisting those in Hospital with their work goals post-discharge. We are excited to announce this amazing service will now be available to people in the community.
Spinal Life Australia's Back2Work team is here to help you explore your next steps, whether that means returning to your previous job, starting something new, or discovering a study path that will inspire your next career.
How we can help
Our experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Counsellors can help eligible participants :
- Discover your skills, interests and goals
- Match your strengths to suitable jobs or study and career pathways
- Build your confidence and capacity for work or study
- Access available funding to support your employment journey
- Support your employer to prepare for your return to work or new job
- Link you with suitable, sustainable job opportunities when you are ready

Who we can support
If you have spinal cord damage, or an injury, and ready to explore your next chapter, Back2Work could be right for you.
Our eligibility criteria:
- Living with spinal cord injury or damage and are not currently receiving support from the Back2Work early intervention program
- Looking to return to work, start study or change career direction
- Living within 50km radius of Woolloongabba
- Have suitable funding to support your employment goals (eg. NDIS, NIISQ or another funding body)
