Kat joins the Spinal Life Australia team in Townsville as an Occupational Therapist. She holds a Master of Occupational Therapy and a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Queensland.
She has over eight years of experience supporting people through the NDIS including roles as a support worker, allied health assistant, and support coordination intern, as well as her most recent role as a community-based OT at a not-for-profit in Brisbane. She also has experience working with a wide range of physical and psychosocial disabilities, including acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, motor neuron disease, autism, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
Kat takes a person-centred approach and enjoys supporting people to work towards their goals in a way that’s practical, holistic and meaningful.
